[Press Release] DENZAI Bangladesh Ltd. to Provide One-Stop Solution for Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) Plant

DENZAI Bangladesh Ltd. has signed a contract with Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) to replace the pool condenser at KAFCO’s ammonia and urea plant in Chattogram, Bangladesh, one of the country’s largest private-sector fertilizer facilities and a Bangladesh–Japan joint venture backed by Chiyoda Corporation and Marubeni.

DENZAI is delivering the full scope as a one-stop solution: ocean freight of the new 201-ton condenser from Italy to Bangladesh, followed by heavy haulage, erection, and installation, plus the safe dismantling and disposal of the existing unit.

To execute the project, DENZAI Bangladesh has invested in new equipment: an Enerpac LH400SK skidding system and 16 axle lines of Goldhofer self-propelled modular transporters (THP/ADDrive and THP/SL). An 800-tonne crawler crane will be mobilized from Singapore, with construction scheduled to begin in August.
