[Notice] Our 2,500-tonne Crawler Crane Operating in Akita Featured in Media Coverage

On May 28, 2026, our 2,500-tonne crawler crane (Liebherr LR 12500) was featured in news coverage of the offshore wind farm construction at Akita Port, which was opened to the press by Oga-Katagami-Akita Offshore Green Energy GK (OKAOGE).

In Akita, DENZAI is engaged in offshore wind farm construction using some of the world’s largest heavy lift equipment, including our 2,500-tonne crawler crane, a 1,350-tonne crawler crane, a 750-tonne crawler crane, and other ultra-large machinery.

When its boom is fully extended, the 2,500-tonne crawler crane reaches a height of 162 metres—taller than Akita’s tallest building, the Port Tower Serion (143 metres)—and its hook weighs 91.3 tonnes on its own.
