[Press Release] Mitsubishi HC Capital and DENZAI Form a Capital and Business Alliance

DENZAI is pleased to announce that it has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement with Mitsubishi HC Capital Inc. (Representative Director, President & CEO: Taiju Hisai, “Mitsubishi HC Capital”).

DENZAI operates its lifting engineering business based on machinery and equipment capable of handling large-scale and heavy loads, including cranes and specialized transport vehicles, and has been engaged in a wide range of projects both in Japan and overseas. Its business covers infrastructure such as expressways and dams, plants including power generation and steelworks facilities, as well as construction projects such as large stadiums and factories. Large cranes, in particular, are indispensable assets for infrastructure development and maintenance, and they also play an important role in Japan’s national resilience initiatives promoted by the government.

Mitsubishi HC Capital has identified “Establish resilient social infrastructure” as one of its materiality issues and has been engaged in leasing and financing businesses in the construction machinery sector. Against this background, Mitsubishi HC Capital decided to enter into the Alliance with DENZAI, which possesses advanced expertise in asset operation as well as the operational capabilities required for business execution, including maintenance. Through the Alliance, Mitsubishi HC Capital aims not only to expand financing for large cranes, but also to promote new business development utilizing such assets.

Through the Alliance, the two companies will begin initiatives aimed at creating new businesses by combining DENZAI’s expertise in lifting engineering and asset operation with Mitsubishi HC Capital’s strengths in financial know-how and its broad customer base.

By maximizing the latent potential of assets in the infrastructure sector, the two companies will contribute to addressing challenges related to social infrastructure and to realizing a sustainable and prosperous society.
